Interesting CLI offer from AMEX on BBP

I have never seen this before. Normally AMEX will occasionally give a CLI on my BBP but this time I received an email asking if I want to accept their offer to apply for an increase to my CL. Below is a snip from the email. Has anyone seen an offer to apply for a CLI before, or is this a new behavior from AMEX? I am not accepting the offer, but wanted to share it here to see if this is normal from AMEX.

There is no mention of it on the app or web when I log in. Seems quite suspicious that they would send an email and not have it also offered through my logins.

perhaps they can do something about it. You are the second person to mention strange emails from Amex in a month....

Why not just go online and request a 3x cli... no credit pull, instant approval or counter... done!
