Did AmEx BBC Just Become A 4.5% Everything Card?

Got a targeted offer to add an employee card to my Blue Buisness Cash acccount and get a bonus $100 cash back on $4,000 spend within 6 months. This is in addition to the 2% it would earn. So, did this just become my 4.5% on everything card for the next 6 months? What am I missing? Oh and my wife counts as an employee, right?

that offer typically allows up to 5 employee cards, per the terms, won't be a problem at all

the terms do technically say they might come after P2 for payment should you not pay it back, just something to be aware of

thanks for the post. I see the same thing. I havent used my card in about 6 months and just started driving some volume last 2 weeks but didnt see this offer 2 weeks ago.I'll take advantage of this.

I constantly churn these using my wife/P2 as the employee: five times on BBPs earlier this year, currently on my BBC, and just got my first of five BBPs for the next round. I put everything that isn't groceries (6% BCP) or a 5% quarterly category (Discos, CFF) on them.

Call me a wet blanket but wouldn't it be violating the fine print to (a) add someone who's not actually an employee as an employee, and (b) use the business card for non-business purchases?

Well, I'm a sole proprietor of a side hustle buisness and my wife helps me with it, so no, it's not a violation.

You have to provide the employee's SSN within 60 days of receiving the card or they cancel it. I've never deleted any cards so that the statement/transaction trail remains.

First year of law school they teach ya: An unenforced rule is not a rule. And, from what I've seen, Amex doesn't really enforce those rules.
