Sign-up bonuses:

Macy's is offering an extra 20 percent off on purchases up to a total of $100 made during the first two days of opening a store card account.

New Amazon.com Rewards Visa cardholders receive a $30 gift card for the online retailer upon credit approval.

Wal-Mart credit card through Dec. 31, consumers can save $25 when they open a Wal-Mart credit card and spend at least $75 on that day. You can earn another $10 if you charge another $75 or more within 60 days of the account opening.

Nordstrom is offering new account holders a $20 bonus when they spend $100 with the card the day that they apply.

New Kohl's credit card accountholders are eligible to receive 15 percent off their first day's purchases.

New American Eagle Outfitters credit card account holders are eligible to receive 15 percent off on their first purchase in-stores or online.

New Sears store cardholders can receive 10 percent back in points on the first $500 of eligible purchases made through Dec. 25, 2014. However, the points expire Jan. 31, 2015.

New Brooks Brothers store cardholders are eligible to save 15 percent off their first day's purchases.

New Zappos credit cardholders will receive a $25 statement credit after their first purchase.

Cash back credit cards:

Discover More cardholders can earn 5 percent cash back on up to $1,500 in online shopping and department store purchases October through December 2014.

Chase Freedom card holders can earn 5 percent cash back on up to $1,500 in combined purchases at Amazon.com, Zappos.com and select department stores.

Best Buy credit cardholders can elect to earn 5 percent back in rewards on purchases. (Cardholders could alternatively opt for zero percent financing for 18 months on store purchases of $429 or more.)

Lowe's is offering a similar deal for its new store credit cardholders: Applicants can choose between receiving 5 percent off on purchases or six months of special financing with a $299 minimum purchase.

Amazon.com Rewards Visa cardholders can earn 3 percent back in rewards on Amazon purchases.

Target's Redcard lets shoppers receive an extra 5 percent off their purchases.

New Overstock.com store cardholders receive 10 percent off their first purchases.

Gap credit cardholders can get a $10 reward card for every $200 spent on purchases at Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic and other Gap sites.

Apple's new Barclaycard Visa lets cardholders earn three points for every dollar spent at the Apple Store. If you earn 2,500 points, you get a $25 Apple Store gift card.

Zappos cardholders earn three points for every dollar spent on the site.

Bonus portal points:

Chase is offering cash-back boosts at select retailers, including J.C. Penney's, Toys R Us, Nordstrom and the Apple Store, when you shop in its Ultimate Rewards Mall.

Wells Fargo credit cardholders can earn accelerated bonus rewards at retailers, including Macy's.com, Best Buy, Sony and Toms.com, when they shop through the Wells Fargo Earn More Mall site.

American Express is offering bonus rewards and/or special discounts at retailers, including Kmart.com, Land's End and Saks.com, in its Deal Center.

Discover cardholders can earn extra cash-back bonuses at retailers, including Home Depot, Wal-Mart and Bloomingdale's, when they shop through Discover Deals.

Citi cardholders can earn extra cash back at retailers, including Bed, Bath and Beyond; Nordstrom; and Staples, when they shop its Bonus Cash Center.

Zero-percent financing:

New Home Depot store credit cardholders can pay no interest on purchases of $299 or more if they pay them off within six months.
Saks Fifth Avenue offers zero interest for a year to its SaksFirst members.

Special deals and steals:

Target REDcard cardholders can save an extra 10 percent on eligible brands, including Mossimo, Boho Boutique and Nate Berkus, during a special three-day sale, Dec. 14 to Dec. 16. Your REDcard will also earn you a free small soda, coffee or cocoa at your Target cafe Dec. 7 through Dec. 13.
Bloomingdale's credit cardholders receive a free entree and non-alcoholic beverage (up to $19) for every $100 spent in at one of its in-store restaurants.

You missed Citi Dividend which is giving 5% cash back on eligible purchases at Best Buy, Deaprtmental Stores and Toy Stores from 10/1/14-12/31/14.

I read this on the website the other day, and I was wondering why they mentioned the now extinct Discover More for deals. Especially when the IT has a better base cashback rate.

Actually Amazon Visa gives new card holders $70 upon approval. Keep refreshing your cart until you see the offer.

And the Lowes offer is not just for new customers, that is also available to existing cardholers

I keep refreshing the cart but it only gives me the $50 offer. Are you sure it's not based on customer loyalty/how often you shopped at Amazon? If I log out of the account, it would give me only the $30 offer.

As a Best Buy employee, I can tell you that you get 10% back of your first purchase with your BB card!

After the first purchase, it's 5%. Wahh! :/
