Try Helzberg Diamonds, their quality is great and pricing is better than Kay or Jared.

Honestly, I would look at Overstock.com. Their prices beat other retailers and their store card is easy to get approved for. You may even be able to get the card without a HP if it pops up and says that you're pre-approved at checkout. They also offer 6 months no interest or 12 months no interest, depending on how much you spend.

Yes: if you can't afford to pay cash for jewelry (or better yet use a cashback bearing CC) then don't buy it at all.

Thank you for that great information. You know what, maybe I should just pay cash for it like I paid cash for my car and my house. I don't know what I was thinking. Stupid me.

If you can pay cash, why ask for financing? Use a Cash CC and PIF.

So you found the answer to your question. You NEED a house, you NEED a car but do you really NEED jewelry you can't afford to pay out of pocket?

I pay my house cash each month (because I rent). I paid my car with a cashback credit card (and paid that back with money from my bank account the next day). Our wedding rings are worth $49 each from eBay and they're tungsten-carbide so they're gonna last forever. Nuff said?

It sounds like you have it all figured out for yourself and I commend that. Thank you for your input, but what I was looking for was deferred interest financing. I could very well pay cash for it, but since I am fresh out of grad school.... I am looking to opt for the financing (same as cash) to keep free the monies I have saved. Again thanks for your input. As my grandfather would say "To each his own".

Hi Ron,

Thanks for the reply. I did. They have a very nice selection of rings! Someone on here also mentioned Zales....I have to also take a peek there.

Zales, Jared, Kay, Ben Bridge, etc. They all have deferred payment plans (usually 6 or 12 months). Most of the time it'll boil down to their services (and of all of the above, only Ben Bridge carries Rolex if that's what you're looking for). Just make sure you pay it off before the interest kicks in (most of them have high interest rates).

I don't think he came for a lecture about his finances. He asked a very simple question. Maybe he wants to buy his wife or g/f something very nice for Christmas and he feels that's it's important to do so. Not up to you to up judge . By the way a car is not a NEED. If you didn't have anything constructive to say maybe it would have been better not to hit the post button.

There are lots of cards that have 0% intro APRs. Not sure if you can get them with your scores, but if you poke around a bit, I'm sure you can find something. Perhaps Chase Slate or AMEX Everyday?
