Amex Backdate Question

So I am sure this has been asked before but I can't seem to find that thread.

In January I plan to apply for the EDP for backdating purposes. How would this appear on my credit profile? Will it report as a new TL?

Yes, a new TL opened on the same date as the MSD of your first AMEX card
