You may want to check your Capital One account occasionally...

I was given substantial CLI this month but I (still) don't have an email to go along with it.

Maybe you'd be surprised to find yourself in the same situation if you check your account.

It will. Not be a email it will be announced in your monthly statement. That's how they roll. So check statement. They may say something like. Psst.,, notice we gave you credit increase. But read your statement.

I just got a cli, and not done with credit steps yet. It would be nice if they finished it early, but I doubt it.

+1 I had zero clue that I had been given a 3K CLI until I logged in to see if a payment had posted. I then called to double check because I had gotten any kind of notification and I was very doubtful that my CL had gone from $300 to $3300 but it had. I did have a notice on my statement when it came.

Nope. I sent them a message on twitter asking if they could upgrade me to WEMC (might as well shoot for it, right?) and they basically said "bleep you, we don't do that" and then I sent them a message on FB asking the same thing and they said "We'll get right on that, please leave us a number to contact you, and we'll get back as soon as we have more information" and I haven't received a call yet. This was on december 20th.

Edit:Just logged in and my account says world mastercard now...

Looks like they upgraded me to world and just never told me about. Hopefully it was world elite just because I don't have one yet, and credit cards are like pokemon cards, let's be honest.

Edit: I'm reminded why I usually use social media to contact Cap1. I asked if my card was world or world elite and was told "You have an offer to upgrade to the ventureone card" (which is a downgrade, let's be honest)

Me - "Hi, while I never received a phone call back, I logged into my account today and noticed it now said "world mastercard." Was my card able to be upgraded to a world elite card, or is it just world? Thank you!"

I may be wrong but I think the only WEMC Cap1 has is the GM card. Quicksilver has WM as the top card.

I may be wrong but I think the only WEMC Cap1 has is the GM card. Quicksilver has WM as the top card.

Doesn't hurt to ask though.

It might be, when I called to find out when my credit steps CLI would hit the account I was given an exact date, January 13th. Instead I got the CLI for both of my new accounts two months earlier on November 13th/17th.
