Are NASA FCU credit cards easy to get

Do they give generous limits too? My scores are about 660. Had one charge off january of 2014. No baddies since and all payments on time.

Not anymore unfortunately. The gravy train of high limit approvals sailed a long while ago.

I think there are better cards you can get anyway that have better rewards too.

Which ones? I dont qualify for NAVY FCU so that is out.

I thought Nasa would be my only hope

Not with a Chargeoff from less than a year ago.

Reason I got denied is from a CO close to 4 years ago and a few CA's.. So that will be a no go with nasa, has similiar EX score at time when they has very LOSE standards, which they have tigethened up since.

Wow well thanks for the heads up with them. Saves me a hard pull.

Maybe I can apply for yet another Cap one card and hope that they combine my limits.

Cap1 Doesn't combine limits... Your best bet might be to find a local CU... You aren't going to get any 20k cards, but you might be lucky and get a 5k-10k card if you look around and find out what local CU's pull what, etc...

NASA doesn't do hard pulls but you won't get approved. I tried after the initial rush and was declined.

Excessive credit. I might have been approved on recon but it wasn't worth the effort.

Wonder how much "too much" is! I had ~ 2x income when I was approved, which could certainly be viewed as too much!

Re scores: they gave me a score ~760 on their scale, which they stated put me in the top 30%, so not amazing. My FICO 08s range from 833 to 850, so obviously using a different metric.

I don't see it happening it is a soft pull though so why not try.. Some of these people speaking as mentioned have 830+ fico scores.. I am similiar to yours on EXP and similliar situation but 4+ years old baddies and they said nope... You can try though... Everyone situation is different.

Im not a member of NASA. Isnt membership a hard pull?
