Oh Wells Fargo...
Don't know what to do with them. I would like your opinion. I've had this Wells Fargo card for about a year now. It started secured at $300 only. Never really cared for it. Since then I have credit lines over$10k but Wells Fargo has kept me at $2k. I really would like to put some good use to this CC as Wells Fargo isn't a bad bank in general. I would like some suggestions on who I can speak to so I can get a larger credit line.

Wells Fargo hates me, even though I've banked with them for years! And I feel the same way towards them. Thank goodness I'm also a member of a CU.

This bank is tough with cli's I would say 2K with this bank is okay status unfortunately in my opinion the only thing good about having a wells fargo credit card is for the free cell phone protection without having to pay for additional protection....

Have you tried calling for a CLI? They usually SP unless otherwise specified. If they still decline you then might as well chop it up and burn it or use it for cellphone insurance.

i would use WF CC to pay off your cell phone bill only real use i found with mine. You get free cell insurance if you pay your cell bill with WF CC.

How does that cell insurance work and what does it cover? Seems like a nice benefit but probably something that would convince me to use that cc.

My WF was at 1.1k and I asked for 12k and I was approved. It was one of my first CC's but the limit never increased. However, I closed the account the not too long ago. I had no use for it.

When you say WF has kept you at 2K are used referring to no auto CLIs? If so, I've never received an auto CLI, but.......

I was able to grow my card from 600 to 10,000 in 2 1/2 years with SPs and one HP CLIs. Call the number on the back of the card and see if you're eligible for a soft increase. If you're not, but are wanting to keep the card, it may be worth taking a hard for a good increase.

i would check the wf cc website for the details on it , i think its under protection services tab. I don't use it anymore i figured i have never had to use cell phone insurance ever on one of my phones. So i decided i rather get the 5x ur with ink plus to pay for cell phone now.
