Anybody have a bead on easy approvers for cards outside the normal mainstream list.....Barclay, Chase, Bank America, Wells Fargo, Citibank, Pen Fed, NCFU, AMex, Discover?

Looking for off the wall institutions just dying to give away their cards to get my business. I hear that Royal Bank of Scotland has V/MC and have branches in US.

That depends, What kind of limits and APR's and when are you looking to apply?

You need to be account holder with RBC or RBS to be eligible for RBC Credit card

First Hawaiian Bank WEMC (division of BNP Paribas)
BBVA Compass Visa Sig (BBVA Spanish bank)
UBS Visa Sig also accept US customers

Isn't compass notoriously hard to get approved for?

Citizen's Bank is a wholly owned subsidiary of RBS in the US, so not as exotic as it might sound!
