Recon with barclays about initial CL

Just curious about my new barclays arrival+. I got an instant approval of 7.5k. What is involved with a barclays recon re: credit limit? Do they do a new HP? Are they overally invasive? Is it usually successful? For people have done it how much have they increased their credit line? I'm just wondering because I may want to carry a balance on the barclays card to take advantage of the 0% APR for 12 months and a higher credit line will lower the util on that card.

Thats exactly what I did. Mine was an initial denial and then I called and they gave me $4000. I told them I wanted to take advantage of the BT offer and they gave me $6000 to cover the BT wit ha little padding. Just call. No extra hard pull but they WILL question your file. Be prepared to answer some questions

Yea, I am just a bit nervous because I added three accounts right after I got approved by them.

The recon of the limit will be another HP, all customer initiated CLIs are HPs.

I got approved for Sallie Mae last week for $12,500 online
I called and asked for recon on the CL
They raised it to 19k without HP
