I wouldn't make a habit of it, but I'm essentially doing the same thing with the 0% period. Although I'm making way more than the minimum and want it paid off in 3-4 months.

I'm thinking about carrying a balance for a month or two on my freedom that I just got last month . It would be about 35% of my limit . Would this hurt my relationship with Chase ? Like Getting a CLI or another chase product ? I just got the card so there's no interest charges to worry about .

I've been trying to get into much more of the habit of PIF so I can save money on interest as well as getting a BT card soon though but as long as your balance isn't like 60% of the card's limit or anything like that, I don't think you'd have too much to worry about.

Of course you will have no problem. Outside of maxing out and then paying the minimum, issuers WANT you to carry a balance. Its how they make money. Not saying you should do it routinely for your own sake but its pure paranoia to think they'll be upset at you carrying a balance. Its the whole point of a credit card...

It shouldn't be bad at all. Just keep in mind going forward, avoid utilizing more than 30% and aim to pay your statement off in full each cycle. The longer you do that the better it will be on your record and make things easier for you in the long run (CLIs, future approvals, etc)
