I actually remember seeing an expiration date for the offer plainly displayed when I app'd this card in December. I have just looked everywhere on the site and can't find an expiration date anymore... Must be ongoing for a while now.

Yeah where because that would shock me

Existing cardholders can only get a referral bonus till tomorrow, so we know that the offer will likely last till at least the 18th. No concrete information is available on the end date of the offer other than it will likely be after the 18th and before the end of the quarter.

Article linked above suggests a Jan 18 end date, but it by no means confirms it. I know I read another article about the referral bonus ending on the 18th, but that does not mean the offer ends by then.

There was a referral bonus?! I had my Mum get this card while I was home for Christmas, I would have totally had her put me down as a referral.

Theres a 48 page thread on credit bords about this card/offer , Thats where i got it from . I want the card but my utilization is a little high at this moment so i need this to last another week or two . I know its suppose to convert soon but Im not sure when exactly , Some say January some say March .

It's going to last to the end of the quarter before the final merger takes place. Guaranteed Barclays is going to be pushing very hard to get as many new cardholders as possible before they lose the account. Watch for more tasty offers before long.

Picture of ending date for referral bonus (not for 50k offer that might well last beyond it). No one knows when the offer will be pulled, but like Irish80 mentioned Barclays will likely want to run it for longer since it benefits them. However, the only guarantee (or as close to guaranteed as we can get) we have is at least till the 18th.

I really screwed up this referral one. I knew about it and applied for my g/f but used the wrong damn link and they wouldn't process her application because wasn't eligible for that link offer and can't app,y for 30 more days. Sucks

Oh ..what a pity...just apped and got the 7-10 days message...oh well looks like denial to me ( Sallie Mae was instant) ...just wanted to grab the 50K AA miles and keep a AA card with no FTF fees 😩 I guess too many inq on TU !

Is there an expiation on the referral? When I can I'm going to apply for my g/f. She should get approved. She just got the Citi A card and few others. I just have to wait about another 3 weeks because I screwed her first app up by using the wrong link.
