PC the Diamond Preferred

I'm coming up on the 12th statement on my diamond preferred and I'm trying to determine what card I can PC to.

Can everybody tell me what they were able to PC to. What they couldn't PC to and if they were able to get a CLI during the PC process.

I have the diamond. I haven't tried to PC, but I imagine you should be able to PC into any Simplicity or TY product. The only thing is, the points don't transfer and since the diamond has the lowest available APR of the three because of its lackluster point program, any PC will most likely come with an APR bump as well.

I have my eye on the Premier. I don't have a great APR as is so that's not a concern. Plus I don't carry a balance. I plan to get a PSECU card in April just in case I ever need to carry a balance.

You cant PC if you still have 0% APR promotion, my DP card is 14 months old, cant PC yet until May

You cant PC if you still have 0% APR promotion, my DP card is 14 months old, cant PC yet until May

yeah i still have 11 months on mine. i wouldn't even consider a PC; I'd lose the 0%. You'd think they'd love a PC just to tack on the APR.

I only had a 12 month promo so I should be good with that. I accepted the 5% back deal that runs through march. Does that count as a promo that would prohibit a PC?

IMO, that 5% shouldn't affect anything. thats a temporary benefit on specific purchases.

My experience with Citi was a p/c to the Citi Double Cash and they kept all of the same terms and conditons related to credit limit, Aprs and the like. Note, on p/cs people were not keeping their Mastercard World or World Elite status. The Citi Double Cash World Mastercards have pretty much gone to new Apps. If you pursue the Citi TYP very likely the same terms will continue as well as the credit limit. Now related to Citi Easy Deals all of that was lost but p/cing a Citi Dividend card found the balance converted and placed into the Citi Double Cash rewards account (assume the same for the Citi TYP). Notice I used the word "assumed" so no factual statement intended here.

Citi did not offer you any extra BT rate? I just got a deal from Citi giving me 1.99% APR for 18 months last December,super sweet, i used it to pay off some of my car loan.

Ok. I only ask about the CLI because my limit is at 4800 so another 200 could potentially get me wmc status.

I have received other BT offers but haven't accepted any.

my initial limit is 6k,still a MC, got increased to 15k now,still an MC

**Update**

My 12th statement cut 2 days ago and yesterday I called about a PC. They really tried to sell me on the Double Cash which I'm not too interested in. I ended up converting to the Hilton Reserve. New account number but based on other posts in this forum I should be able to keep the age of account. I didn't ask for a CLI. The conversion won't be finalized until 4/26.
