Anyone getting BP gas card/MC when Synch takes over??

So, Synch is taking over the BP cc's..store and major. The transition is to happen in the 2nd quarter of this year, and will no longer be in Chase's hands. Just curious if anyone is gonna apply for either the personal gas card or the major once they take over??

Hi not me.. i already get good rewards with Discover it, Freedom and BoA Cash Rewards for gas purchases.

I have no plans to.

Unless gas goes up to $50/gal, I have no need for a $25,000 Gas card.

Also, No BP in my area.

nixon...they have a "store" card...to use at all the gas stations across the country, and they also offer the master card version

I'm terrible at copying links, it never works for me, but i went to the bp credit site and they offer personal and business card in both "store version" and major version

i don't have plans to apply once they take over, I already have a 76 gas card thats backed by synch, have had for one yr now, and only received one cli I also use this card for all my gas purchases, and have my walmart card as a back up to use at Sams gas stations. Remember....Im in the garden!! I have my sights on future majors,

I may be interested in a BP card once Synchrony takes over.....hoping to get my TU up enough to get the Mastercard (or VISA) flavor because all my Synchrony cards are simply store cards right now. I already have a Conoco card with them that I use once in awhile. I want the QT card but UMB is very conservative and I don't qualify yet.

Nah not interested. I already have enough Sync Bank credit as it is. There is a BP right near where I live but never go there to get gas.

Not ot really big on gas cards at all when I already get gas covered by several of my cards already and even have a MC.

Not unless there a free 100 dollars worth of gas with a 300 min spend or something absurd like that. Branded cards meh. And my inheitance from grandpa (hopefully i never see it) will be in BP stock.

There used to be B.P. all over the place around here but they have since left the market, so I'd really have no use for it.

A gas and grocery card like Sallie Mae would work nicely. Just want to wait until my inquiries are 6 mos out or so.

I have no plans and not interested in obtaining a BP gas card. I always use my major credit card at the pump and I don't need another store credit card.

Not interested. First, AFAIK there are no BP stations near where I live and I'm not interested in gas charge cards to begin with

No. I don't have any BP stations in my area, so it would never get any use. Maybe later when i can qualify for the MC straight out instead of getting the store card and earning my way to a Visa.

Since Chase sent me a letter saying they are closing the BP Visa (after I finally got back in with them), I think I will apply. I actually use BP a lot. Was thinking since they approved me a BP Visa finally that I might qualify for a different Chase product. I might try something that isn't co-branded so I don't lose my account again. I always thought the old accounts just transferred to the new bank?
