Amex payment processing time through chase ???

I had a question..

So how does amex process payments when you make them from a chase checking account ?? Is it same day withdrawal or next day ACH debit.

The reason I ask is because I had mixed occurrences.

When I would make a amex payment through my boa account it would deduct a few hours later same day.

With my pnc account, you make the payment online and it gets deducted via a ACH debit next day.

Anyone know how amex processes payments from a chase checking account ??

If your are not enrolled in chase bill pay or amex auto pay and you just do "one time payments" usually you will see it off your chase checking the next day , I know with discover it can take a days or 2 , citi and bofa come out the next day too ! And of course from chase to chase credit cards it comes out right away

Yeah sorry I meant the one time payments through either the amex app or online... So they come out next day ??

Yes but as a precaution when those payments are near or on a holiday it will show up the day after the holiday ,and it that case it doesn't matter if it's amex or citi or discover -_- it sucks cause you think you paid late but no you won't , and yes thru amex app or online basically if the payment was done before 5pm the payment will show up the next day on your chase checking .

I bank with Bank of America and it's almost within the hour for me, Amex considers your payment on time even if your payment date lands on a holiday or weekend. Their system notes it automatically.

Everyone we are thinking about moving over to capital one or chase business accounts. Anyone know the processing time for amex payments through a capital one checking account.
