In need of a Pep Talk!

I’m having a hard time! I want to get on the Venture approval train! I went to their site numerous times and was prequalified @16.9%. In all honesty I wouldn’t have a problem meeting spend, however I don’t really need another inquiry or account. Currently all my accounts other than Amex & Citi are past the 6 month mark. In the past 2 weeks I have brought my utilization down to at least 5%. I am waiting ever so patiently for balances of 0 to report; chase’s mid-cycle report increased my Equifax 6pts, for some reason Chase soft pulled my Experian twice in one week. My 2015 goal was to attempt a 3x Cli at the end of the month, and apply for the Sallie Mae and the Freedom in November, once approved I would combine Chase Amazon & Freedom and combine the Reward with Sallie Mae. Talk me out of it please! Thank you!

They soft pull you when something changes in your report, they soft pulled me twice before once when my AMEX reported then a couple of days later when Discover reported.
