Very nice surprise from Discover!

I have recently moved and changed my address through discover.com. Today I got a $25 gift card from them, with a note saying that they know moving can be stressful, so "have lunch on us." Anyone else have this happen? Very nice surprise for sure!

That is so great!

About a year ago I recall somebody else saying they'd gotten a $20 gift card from Discover after moving. I've moved since then and didn't get one despite my long relationship with Discover, but I've received $5 gift cards from them out of the blue and a couple of instances of double cashback just because.

I received a $25 gift card from them last week, congratulating me on my marriage. I had called a few weeks back to change my name on the account :-)

I've had a Discover card since '02 and I've moved a couple times in that stretch and never gotten anything from them. Sigh. Moving again and will be changing addresses with them, maybe this will be the lucky time.

They sent me a $5 Starbucks gift card last week. Not alot but I thought it was a nice gesture to show they appreciated my business.

I got my $5 starbucks which was nice and unexpected, so now I guess I need to get a divorce get remarried and then move and Whammo discover $5 + $20 + $25

That's good. Discover card members are going to move every month now.
