I am frustrated with the SCT, although after many tries I got the pop up on Overstock and was approved for a $500 limit. Was declined for the instant CLI as I tried 3 times and got the 7-10 day letter. My utilization was around 75% ( now down to upper 30's this week). I was told to reapply for a cli after my debt ratio lowers.

I am trying to rebuild my mom and wife's credit and for the life of me get nowhere after many tries on 7-8 stores. We are all interconnected on each other's accounts. My wife and I are au's on moms credit cards that were opened last year, and I have gotten Bloomingdales, Am Ex and Discover on my own. My wife is on my Am Ex and Discover. My wife is just a total hodgepodge of excuses, debt ratio, inquiries, (she only has one), number of trades opened in last 12 months, total number of bank card inquires, one bank card at 90%. Her score is in the 600's, 640-660. Comenity is definitely a crap shoot.

just want a Comenity account or two to lower utilization under 30%. I don't like any of the stores.

My mom is elderly and I manage her credit and money. I had to create new e-mail addy's as once you keep applying for 3 people who live in the same house with the same e-mail addy, the websites pull up the previous shopping cart linked to that e-mail addy with the other family members name.

I want my wife to get an account in her name. The Am Ex card hits 61 days next month, and I don't want excessive activity on my bureaus until after I attempt the 3x cli.

My take on them is that if one wants to receive a few accounts with a clean file and a really low FICO score, or to get a couple trade lines to lower utilization while trying to rebuild a score to exceed 700 with soft pulls, go for it. Other than that unless it is a major card with a sp app process, leave Comenity alone.

Hi all! First time poster, long time creeper. I have gotten several cards doing the SCT. The one I REALLY want is Buckle. Being a 6'2 chick, Buckle is pretty much the only place I can find jeans long enough. I have tried so many damn times, it's ridiculous. My question is, each time you get ready to do the whole checkout and registration process, can you keep using the same email each time you try? My dumbass enters a new email every time. Any and all input will be greatly appreciated. Still new to all this credit repair BS!

the email shouldn't matter - but things like middle initial might. also address differences.

If your credit was good enough for 3-4, it should be good enough for buckle. I would check your credit reports at the usual suspects (here,ck, etc) and see how your name and address appears directly on the credit report.

@Anonymous wrote:

Hi all!

I just signed up for the FICO 3-Bureau Credit Monitoring on here, switching from Identity Guard and my scores are not the same. FICO scores are, EQ 599, TU 633, EX 612. Identity Guard is showing, EQ 591, TU 627, EX 597.

My 16-year-old son is about your height and honestly we had the hardest time finding jeans at Buckle for him. I purchase his jeans and pants from J.Crew. Yes, J. Crew is a little more expensive than Buckle. But to ensure I'm getting a better quality and a precise fit, I order his clothes from there.

J. Crew can also be obtained via the SCT and you can usually get higher CLIs with them quicker then with Buckle.

BTW.....he is also fairly slim.

Make frequent payments before statement cut on what you DO spend. And keep a close eye on your accounts.

@Anonymous wrote:

You can have mine! It's my lowest cc and I can't get a cli with them but am over $1000 and up on the others. I'm closing it soon.
