Orchard (HSBC Bank) Not Updated On Experian Report

I just noticed that Orchard didn't have an update for July on Experian (I'm at the Experian website now)

Is this standard? It's irritating that it's 8/10 and both Orchard and First Premier have not reported my newer (lower) balances as of 7/31. Is this something that is normal? Do they report later from your experience?

PS. I do have an investigation pending for EXP, is that way it would be delayed?

Yea, it's standard. there are a few threads on here complaining about it. One authored by me as well. I have had 2 of their cards for close to a year, they are not fast to update but they always do.

I don't think i ever had a problem with them updating for me maybe u should contact HSBC an ask them what the problem is.

I have had Orchard bank for 2 months now and they are not even on my credit report at all.

Have u called them well i heard it takes some banks 3 months to report.

I haven't called as yet. I am not a big phone person. I was going to wait one more month and see and if they are still not reporting I will call.

My HSBC card last reported in June. Two billing periods ago. I think they are just super slow.

trust me orch hsbc will report everything ive had them since 04 so they dont miss a beat they make take a moment to get everything updated but u can be assured they will report esp if u miss a payment lol but i have no probs with them ive been getting CLI every 6mos . they report twice a month before your billing statement they report tht statement then at the end of the month they report again!!! I have experienced this

They are late for me this month and last month, but otherwise have been pretty good about reporting.

My Orchard card has not been updated since April 2008. They did give me a token CLI of $100 in that time though, so they haven't forgotten me.

I called them and asked. They claim that they report at the end of each and every month and that they reported my info @ the end of July and have no idea why it is not showing up.

Some Orchard/HSBC cards do skip months, sometimes skip two months. They act amazed when you question them, but it sure does get reported here a lot.

I've been OK with my Best Buy card, but it's a store card, and it seems to behave differently: it posts on the statement date, with the statement amount, etc. But the bank cards frequently note the balance that you had on the last business day of the month, and actually report it several weeks later, in the next month.

How frustrating. All I hope is that the balance as of 7/31 is the next to be reported (as promised by one of their "finest" reps named 'jessica')

I just am so tired of them and First Premier. I cannot wait til I feed them to mr scissors. High aprs and annual fees will fill his belly in a few months, hopefully.

Ok, so I called again. This time, I was told that they report to all 3 CRAs on the 1st of every month. That they checked my account and my information was sent to the CRAs and that it may take the CRAs up to 60 days to add that information to my CR. I was advised to contact the CRAs. Then they tried to sell me a bunch of products...................... Anyway, it's very odd.

My Orchard is reporting as of yesterday on EX and TU and it is reporting a balance as of 7/31...

Nice. Thanks for the heads up.

I am to assume True Credit would have the update shortly? I didn't see it yesterday and I figure it's best to use this instead of ordering more 'live' reports from the cra's

Either way, it's good to know they are showing. I called them yesterday and they gave me the same message (60 day wait for cra's) as the poster above mentioned.
