      <title>CITI Costco Visa next yr, and past burn with CITI</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;So, the cats out of the bag, as we all know CITI will take over Costco and issue the Costco Visa next spring. I already have 3 Visa's I can use there, but looking for an "in" into Citi. &amp;nbsp;They got burned in my BK7 in 2013.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;By the time next year they take over, and roll out the new Costco Visa, Ill be almost 3 years since filing when that happens. &amp;nbsp;I know Citi and Chase are rough to get back with after a burn, but thoughts on trying at that time for a Costco card??&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do you think they might relax the credit requirements a tad, and since its all new and everyone in the US will be excited and want the new card, will it worth it at that time to try for an "in"? &amp;nbsp; Thoughts appreciated&lt;img id="smileywink" class="emoticon emoticon-smileywink" src="https://ficoforums.myfico.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif" alt="Smiley Wink" title="Smiley Wink" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I already have 3 Visa's I can use there, but looking for an "in" into Citi. &amp;nbsp;They got burned in my BK7 in 2013.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;By the time next year they take over, and roll out the new Costco Visa, Ill be almost 3 years since filing when that happens. &amp;nbsp;I know Citi and Chase are rough to get back with after a burn, but thoughts on trying at that time for a Costco card??&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do you think they might relax the credit requirements a tad, and since its all new and everyone in the US will be excited and want the new card, will it worth it at that time to try for an "in"? &amp;nbsp; Thoughts appreciated&lt;img id="smileywink" class="emoticon emoticon-smileywink" src="https://ficoforums.myfico.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif" alt="Smiley Wink" title="Smiley Wink" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;HR /&gt;&lt;/BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do you have an AMEX?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Have you considered getting the AMEX Costco card now, to be able to get a running start when that portfolio is transferred to Citi?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;HR /&gt;&lt;/BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;P&gt;Citi is still evaluating those cards. &amp;nbsp;My link is in one of the other threads, reported on abc news site. &amp;nbsp;Not everyone with Amex will qualify for citi Costco. &amp;nbsp;Also, Amex tends to be bk adverse. &amp;nbsp;Pizza has good visas, she will be fine.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

OP wants to see about getting a card issued later from Citi. A way to rebuild with Citi is through the secured MasterCard.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
