Upgraded to cap one world MasterCard

After being denied last month for my request to convert my quicksilver one platinum to world I decided to give it a try again this month I went through EO and answered all the questions she said they would give me a call to let me know. I was expecting to wait a week or four. Well cap one might be feeling generous after one day I logged in and it says World MasterCard! Wooohoo

Yes they are right. Offer isn't available yet until you call EO department.

5.5k mastercard, 6 months old. 3.3k visa 12 years old.

They should convert your 5.5k MC. That's weird. I think you might have to call again to find the right agent.

I called yesterday to request a conversion from platinum to world, along with double the credit line(3k-6k). Hopefully the executive office can make it happen for me

I got the same answer from EO when they called me back after emailing the CEO of Cap1...

Have you PCed within the last 6 months. I just spoke with the EO and they told me that they wouldn't do an upgrade within 6 months of a PC. Of course, YMMV, as is often the case with Cap One.

I was also told that they do only one major 'change' to the card in a 6 month period. PC, etc., maybe even CLI.

Congrats on getting a world mastercard. Short story i tried to get a CLI on my QS about a month ago thru the EO my cl was 3.5k. They said no way and i forgot to ask about the world mastecard upgrade. Then a couple weeks ago when the CLI craze was going on i got 2k CLI online making my limit 5.5k. I sent the EO an email back got a phone call and the next day i logged into my account and it said world mastercard. I just ordered a new card yesterday i am hoping it says world on it now.

I upgraded my Quicksilver to Citi Double Cash about a week and a half ago. My limit is 4.2k. It arrived in the mail today and the back has the World Master Card logo. Is that the same thing you guys are talking about?
