Amex 7-10 day message

On the 3-2-2015 I logged in to my BCE account after only having it for 3 weeks and tried to get the 3x cli because of all the early approvals recently reported here but I got the 7-10 day message so a week goes by no email no denial letter so tonight I call to see if I can get the decision over the phone and the CSR told me there's no record of me asking for a CLI so she asked if I wanted to do it over the phone now and I said NO! Then she suggested i wait 61 days and request it I'm happy because I should have been patient in the first place....have this ever happened to anyone else?

My DW tried the 3X CLI after a few days with the card and she got the 7-10 message. We have to wait to see what they say.

I hope she can try again in 60 days but I think she will need to wait 90.

I tried my 6 months CLI yesterday and got the Income Verfication. Not sure how long it takes.

Yes. I tried for an early 3X CLI about 5 days after getting and activating my AMEX BCE. Requested the CLI online, inputted my income and monthly housing payment amount in, then got the 7-10 day message.

However, a few minutes later got an email with the decision. CLI approved from 3500 to 10500!

How much did you try for. If you got asked. I'm sure over 25k. That's why most just keep it under that. Of course that statement is jot absolute. But in more cases than not.

Lucky you, my DW tried 3500 to 10000, no emails for more than 2 days now.

Have you tried calling in to get an update?
