Seriously fast reporting!!!!!!

Yesterday-- I apllied for a Cabelas visa card and got the 7-10 days response. I thought that it was a denial but I decided to call anyways. After confirming some information with the rep, he told me that I WAS APPROVED! I asked the how much the limit was and he said that he didn't have that info and that I would have to wait for the card to arrive to find out.

Today--I update my report on truecredit and HOLY SMOKES!! Cabelas is already reporting on EX with a $3000 limit!!! The very next day!

Is that at all normal??

Whoa... that was fast! It's not everyday that you hear of someone reporting the very next day.

My discover was reporting within 4 days of approval and I thought that was fast. That's a record I think. Perhaps you caught them as they were sending off their updates to the CRA? Who cares though, that's just awesome! Congrats!

I just went on a app binge and chevron is already reporting on EXP! I dont even have the card yet.

I applied for a Discover More card on August 10, 2008 it reported the next day on EX!!! EX is also the CRA that they pulled which is probably why it reported to them so fast. It has not reported to either TU or EQ yet.
