Thoughts on it?

It looks like a decent cash back card for Amazon. I've already got Citi DC and Discover though, so would it even be worthwhile? It looks like a pretty good way to get in with Chase though.

I'd try for the Sallie Mae if you have the profile. My Amazon card has been SDed since I got it. It is not a bad way to get decent rewards while getting in with chase if thats your goal though. I like the Freedom as well, but that might conflict with your Discover depending on the quarter.

I use it quite a bit for Amazon purchases but not much else. I tend to do a bit of amazon whopping while I should be paying attention in class and it is nice to see the points hit and able to be applied to an Amazon purchase as soon as the transaction clears. I also tend to use it once a month at least for my prescriptions with the 2 percent back.

It's good enough, I guess. Others will tell you that the Sallie Mae card gives you 5% on bookstores (which Amazon codes as) on up to $750 in purchases a month, and they'd be right. For the moment, that may be a better card if you are buying lots of things on Amazon every month. If however you only buy the occasional thing on Amazon except when Discover's bonus comes around (or can structure your purchase like that), then the Chase card is a nice backup.

It depends if you could make use of either of those though.
