Ive used live chat in the past and successfully done PC. Im not referring to the "send a message" feature because Im aware they result in canned responses.

True story ..The phone is more persoanl but also tricky because u r being recorded . It hit me the other day ..I had one of these moment ( I can't believe what I just said ) .

I don't know what made me think of this, but they need to have the show the Undercover Boss the reality show being Mr. Fairbanks(undercover) go into a call center and play a role of a typical CS rep of Cap1 for a day, would be hillarious! Maybe this is what Cap1 needs

I logged in and can see chat feature is available, albeit totally useless. All they've ever done for me is basically cut and paste "Capital One appreciates your business and hopes you have a good day but I cannot help you in any way shape or form" over and over and over lol

Just like regular CS except you don't have to press mute when you want to curse at them.

Well I don't have a ton of experience with cap 1 customer service but I just used the chat feature to do a pc from platinum prestige to quicksilver 2 days ago and they had it done for me in less than 10 mins and my platinum card is already earning rewards before I've even received my new card so it worked well for me.
