So...anyone gonna try for a 2nd Venture approval????

I saw one in the approvals, but wondering if anyone is gutsy enough to try and apply AGAIN for a 2nd Venture card right after being approved, hoping for the same high CL the 2nd time around, and seeing if theyll hand out a 2nd spend bonus.

Why would one want to rock the boat after getting a 10K card and possibily getting it canceled - "looks like fraud waiting to happen" especially on an ID thief issue?

I understand your point - if they are giving these things away, get um while ya can - but just looking at risk-reward, you might end up with a CLD or cancelation of your original approval - besides that possibility, do you really need it?

Note these comments are coming from a guy with way too many credit cards and way too much credit who's in the process of closing out about 50% of his cards because I don't "need" them even though they seemed like a good idea at the time I got them (well that and sign up prtomotions that have ended).

LOL...Im not gonna rock the boat...if I was in a better position, I would try though, HA! I did see one person who got approved for another $10k Venture, and then said will turn around and downgrade it.

on similar topic i was thinking of going for second us airways card before its gone for good, 3 months between apps seems an bit short. So i am thinking cap one may be the same with two apps in such an short period of time?

lol my scores are dropping fast i need to take it easy, if i do app i would do citi aa and us airways at same time to get it over with lol , all those AA miles :-)

Seems like two-card-apps kind of blew up the Diners Club thing last Fall even tho some were double approved during the app-storm. Glad I didn't rock that boat and screw up my nice $20k "hidden" credit line.

...and yes Pizza, I knew it was Saturday night and you were rocking the boat just for fun - still MUCH better than your rants of old, you know back when you hated Capital One and didn't have your pretty new Venture Card....
