Can you believe they removed the $59 AF permanently from my Venture card? Man, do they suck and have terrible business practices, this is unacceptable.

Keep in mind this a manufactured Venture, started out as that old ugly green cash rewards card, upgrade after upgrade got me to the Venture. When I upgraded it to a Venture, they sent a letter stating directions on how to decline the AF. I lost said letter. So I emailed the EO explaining I wanted to decline the AF since I just applied for another Venture recently. The guy put me on hold for a few minutes, came back, said its removed.

You can only do that every six months. If you met your bonus, PC to QS, wait six months, then PC to Venture again, I guess?

I myself want to try this! I have 2 QS cards, and I'm wondering if I should PC one of those to a Venture and see if I get that letter on declining the AF. It would be sweet to make one of my Cap One cards with 2% straight rewards and no FTF!

They can at a BAD rate... Min redemption as well so it isn't 2% cashback at all or at least that is what i have seen on my QS one.. .Someone please correct me if I am wrong.. As I don't use it so haven't redemed, but went to redeem for statement credit and the redemption value looked a bit out of wack on non travel?

They can, but you only get 1:1 when you do that.

I called about SP CLI just now and the reps were pretty much clueless.

Start out by back of card phone # and press 0 after al info and say do I have any offer available.. They will list the BS BT ones.. Say actually what I meant can I get a better APR% or a SP CLI, they will then transfer you... Then they say I hear you want to see if you are eliable for a better APR they say yes/no then move on to the true question, do you have an SP CLI for me.. In my case they said yes we do... Try that approach.. When is last time softed?
