Just an FYI, Chase is finally offering free credit scores from Experian for Slate. The card has a pretty cool new look too. Doesn't offer any new rewards, but my hunch is that Freedom and CSP will be doing the same soon, although there are no plans to as of now.

It's a definite go. I was just in a branch and saw it, plus had a banker tell me about it. No longer a horizontal card. Still not a rewards card, but I think it's the best balance transfer card on the market.

I still have my vertical slate card. My boss has a horizontal one. His has EMV though, mine doesn't cause it sits in my desk wallet. Idk if that has anything to do with it.

No. You have to request the new card then you will get the fico score.

I only Applied for the card 3 months ago and too lazy to go talking to them lol. I'll be getting one with Amex soon anyways

**UPDATE FROM SM**

So i sent them a message asking about Fico Score and new card. I was told that no Fico Score or new card feature is available. They said if it becomes available in the future they will notify their card members.

My input on it, is i suggest others send them a SM and see what kind of response is given. Like who knows maybe i got a rep that doesnt know a whole lot. Or maybe that is the correct information.

I called in to CS yesterday and was told this kicks off for SLATE on the 30th of this month in waves, but I could call in after the 30th and ask if a manual upgrade to my account was possible.

That's exciting. I am an AU on this card I don't think the fico applies to me but good news for my brother. Also wouldn't mind getting another Emv card.
