I just read the news about the bonus categories 's change. the BA card is one of the rare airline card that earn more than 1 points for normal purchases.and now that get taken away,you will earn 3pts on BA purchase and 1 pts for others.whats u guys think about the change?

Stinks, but whatcha gonna do? It rewards people who travel a lot on BA as i'm sure was the original intent.

well thats a bummer. I just finshed up on the spend not too long ago and was using the card quite frequently. Will probably keep it for the year and then will decide what to do.

With enough feedback from their members on it in 6-12 months things could change slightly along with policy. Be patient and weather the storm.

Are you saying that BA purchases will now earn 3 miles/dollar and everything else will be 1 mile/dollar?

If so, where was this announced?
