I have recently been pre-approved for a First Premier CC with a $700 limit. I wanted a 3rd card, but was denied by Barclays. I already have 2 Capital One cards and a credit union card.

Should I accept the First Premier card, or go for the Credit One that I have been pre-approved for?

Any advice on which one is better?

Not just No, but HELL to the no!

You're better off with a secured card (say bank of America) or a Synchrony store card like Walmart or Amazon to help re-establish. I have had credit one in the past, and recently canceled because of their dealings.

Credit One is also run by a collections company if that tells you anything.

Neither they are both pretty bad w. Fees. But if you had a gun to my head to choose between them i would go credit on. I thought they were the lesser of the 2 evils when i was there. Just know neither of those cards are keepers. Use them to rebuild but ditch eem as soon as you can

No. Just, no. These are both awful cards that are worse than the cards that you have, especially the Credit One card. You have two decent cards. I would use the two Capone cards for six months to a year, then try to get some unsecured cards.

Not to beat a dead horse, but First Premier and Credit One are parasitic, usurious, disreputable lenders.

Actually, FP and CO would beat a dead horse...as well as a live one...also, kittens, orphans and infants. They are the antithesis to everything that is good not only in the world of credit cards, but also in the world itself. If FP and CO were in gym class, they would be picked last, after the blind, asthmatic kid with the crutches.

Get the picture?
