App for 3rd Venture card???? (in the future) ;)

mmmmmmm, Well we already know we can have TWO Venture cards, wondering about three ....

Later down the road when I close my QS1MC, Ill be back down to "4" cards with Cap1. Thinking of trying for a 3rd Venture Card to test the waters...hoping for another high limit approval...after gardening of course. Food for thought...

I think there is some clause in the rules of credit that say if you have 3 of the exact same Cap One card, you are strictly banned from ever applying for anything credit ever again...EVER!

@pizza1 You really do seem to have a credit addiction. You posted a thread about an insane amount of inquiries that are currently on your report and a thread about how much revolving credit.

Maybe a better approach would be to focus on prime lenders instead of keeping app'ing for store cards / sub prime lenders. I understand the thrills of apping, but the last thing you need is another inquiry.

1st...I dont have a credit addiction, I have a rebuilding addiction, theres a difference.

2nd..Who cares what kind of threads I started. Im curious to know what people have, and Im bored.

3rd...I wouldnt consider the Venture Card at a $15k cl "sub prime". Cap 1 may issue several rebuilder cards, but they also have prime cards as well.

How are you going to deal with all those AFs for no purpose? Do you spend enough to cover 3, much less two Venture AFs? You said you don't travel much. Lol.

If you really have a "rebuilding" addiction, you should worry more about racking up inquiries than getting more credit. You have much more than enough to rebuild and get yourself to 800! I think we all (including myself) have had that credit addiction at one point. This forum does it to you. I mean how many people have gone near crazy trying to keep themselves from apping for cards they don't need just to get an easy approval with a high limit. Sort of Addict behavior, I'd say.

when you have a "dirty" profile like me...inquiires dont do anything. My scores have stay the same all thru my app spress and new cards reporting. If you were or someone else who isnt in a dirty bucket tried to app like me....your scores would tank.

Yep. Precisely why my TU ONLY dropped when my last two COs dropped off. Every other time it would go up or stay the same.
