Discover EO Email...No Response

Hello all...

Well, I just resent an email to the Discover EO concerning a SP CLI. I had sent my first request March, 11th, 2015 and have yet to get even an acknowledgement of receipt. In contrast, even Capital One's EO has not failed to contact me within three (3) days. Anyway, I will give Discover another week and will update you on the progress.

If anyone wants the address, just let me know and I will PM it to you.

Why wait? Capture your first message and resend noting it is the second request and ask why you did not receive a response. You will put them on the defense and will likely get an apology or+?

Thanks Spider...yes, that is just what I did...I resent the original stating that it was previously sent over a week ago and no response has been sent.... Hopefully something will happen.

I have a Discover IT with a 7k limit. App'd for a Discover IT Miles card 2 weeks ago. Declined "too many inquiries". Whhaa? Only 10! Tried recon. NOPE! Begged. NOPE. Oh, and she said, you can't have 2 Disco cards at once. Huh? Why not.

So, I obtained the EO email addy that's been floating around, and just now E-Mailed very politely asking for reconsideration and explaining the inquiries, etc. We shall see. Discover is touchy. Love that I have a 7k IT limit, but man. I've got 3 Amices and 3 Chases and 2 Cap1s. Blah blah blah.

I got denied for the same reason. I wasn't aware of the policy, but I'm not going to fight it.

I E-Mailed the main dude, and got a call back from an EO associate. I explained the deal, and asked if it was possible for me to have the IT and the MILES card, and he said, "Anything's possible". (I love when people say that). But, he would have to review my account, and application and get back with me next week. Fingers crossed. Come on Disco, play nice. Other banks issue multiple cards. It makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I know it doesn't mean much, but since I got the Miles card they have started sending new preapprovals for the IT. Not at all tempted, but I can imagine being annoyed if the did a HP and then said you can't have both.
