Opt-In Prescreened Offers

Does anyone know how long it takes to opt-in prescreened offers? I opted out years ago. Approximately two weeks ago I went to the opt-in website and chose to opt in, it stated it takes 5 days but it hasn't updated.

I would say if you can try opting in again, otherwise maybe it takes a month?

i was opted in and never opted out and would rarely get offers , i don't know what algorithms their new app department uses to determeine who gets what for pre qual.

I, too opted out several years ago. Just recently I opted in, but I have only received one prequal offer (JCrew) which I threw in the trash.

Something's not right with the opt back in procedure I just know it. Should be getting boo koo offers. Scores all in the 740+ range

I actually tried to opt-in again more than twice... So maybe it does take a month or longer.. So I will be patient..

I am wondering the same thing.. Is there something wrong with the opt-in again process... But I guess I will continue to wait longer...

I opted in a month ago, and I still haven't gotten anything.

So I did it again just now.

It takes about 3 months or so to populate. The offers are coming from either sp's of cc's you have now, or purchased as buckets from the credit bureaus. Just an FYI.

It takes a while and there's no fixed timeframe.

As always, don't rely on prequals.

Same here, opted out awhile back and I have since opted in a few times within the past 3-4 months and still it seems to never work. No prequal of any sort mail or online

I had no idea this was even a thing....I just opted in. Says it takes 5 days to complete. Guess we will see!

I'm fairly sure I read somewhere on that site that it could take up to six months to start getting those offers. So 5 days for the opt-in to process, but up to six months for that info to start filtering to the companies.

Oh, and don't start a thread in 7 months talking about how you had to opt-out because you got too many offers lol 😂
