Simmons Bank... Near impossible to get unless you have extremely good credit and aren't app crazy

Probably next up is the Ring...

tons of others, but those are the two first that come to my mind.. Alot of CU's have very low interest rate cards, to many to mention

I'm not sure the Simmons card actually even exists. It seems like the Holy Grail of credit cards.

Only thing I've seen are rumours that Ron might have gotten one.

Several people on the forum have it.. Although not in their sigs since they no longer have to show their jorney progress or something like that

It's unfortunate that Simmons Bank looks like it is based in someone's backyard. I guess when you own the "holy grail" you can do whatever you want.

But think about all of the possibilities with a 7.25% card. That's lower than some car rates. You could buy a car. Or at least the next round on you.

Already got 8%. Don't need Simmons for .75% lower.

Personally I think it is over rated its not that far off from competative rates from credit unions who offer a more personal approach.

Just join the military...any cards you currently have will fall under SCRA and they will lower your rate to 6% (Everyone's beloved Capital One brings it down to 4% because they love America!)

Honestly, basic training would probably be easier than dealing with recons and such to get your APR lowered.

It exists. I got one a couple of years ago. It's in my sig. Iberiabank also runs 7.25% and my USAA is at 7.9%.

I somehow have ended up with a Capital One card with a rate of 5.9%. With it also being my oldest card, I doubt I'll ever be closing it.

Sure it does. youdontkillmonkey has one. I used to want one as confirmation that I MADE IT. But, now not so much. I have Ring. So I'm good.

I have two fixed rate cards, Merrick Bank MC 6.15% and BofA Visa 7.9%
