Can we use this card outside of lowes?

Also, I've seen plenty of people have a $25K lowes card, but low credit lines for all their other cards. From this, I'm assuming that higher lowes credit line don't beget higher credit lines from other CCCs?

If it doesn't have a Visa or MC logo, assume that you can online use it in that store or on their website.

Nada nitch. Only valid at Lowes. Tethered to that store only unless as mentioned in another post being a Visa/MC Bankcard.

Most people just use those high limits at Lowe's as a util buffer

I do know they have gift cards that you can buy with your credit card..like Subway, Burger King....clothing stores...they also have top off cards for t-mobile and others.

Thanks for the responses! But has anyone applied for a lowes cards at 25K as one of their starting cards and then later have other CCC's like chase/amex/boa match the 25K?

Not that I remember but one thing I have seen is huge CLI, my parents have gone from $750 to $3,750 to $7000 and just this year they bumped it to $12,500, so it grows very quickly.

Or in my case a $10,000 new roof with 84 months 5.95% financing which did not max out the card - so not just over all utility, but "card-account" utility too. I think Lowes and HD offer high limits due to the big ticket items they sell, aka new remodels, projects, etc. It's still unsecured debt, but buyers tend to "invest" into their homes and its hard to do a bathroom remodel with a Brand-X Visa or AmEx at 15-25% APR unless you have cash on hand to pay it off quickly.

I was able to finance a Disney trip 3 years ago when I applied for my first one. Bought gift cards and got 0% for 12 months.
