Just chatted twice for my partners brand new Citi AA card and went from 15.99 to 14.99 and then after being told by someone else they got down to 13.24% which is lower than anything advertised on this card I chatted again and the girl said I had lowest... I said my friend got 13.24% WHY CANT I!

She asked me to hold for supervisor to look at it and came back after a few minutes with:

Great news, he has a lower rate available for the standard purchase rate. We can lower it to Prime + 9.990 = 13.240% variable.

WOOT WOOT!

Congratz (but 13.24 or 13.99 is not the lowest) My AA plat is now at 12.99 (originally 19.99) and my AA gold is 11.24 originally 21.99))
