If you were turned down for accounts being too new and your inquiries, waiting is really the best thing to do, that's the only way you can address those particular issues. Building credit is a marathon, not a sprint. It takes time, patience and perseverence. If you keep going at this rate, the creditors are going to keep saying the same things, and you're most likely going to keep being denied. If you do manage to eek out an approval, it probably won't be on the best terms. Please take the advice that you have been given and have some patience.

With the loss of backdating there is absolutely no reason to rush for the easiest Amex just to get in. The cards will in no way help your profile immediately or on future cards. Simply getting "in" will not help in any way except SP denials if that is even still a thing (unknown at this point).

Take your time, when your profile improves try again. For a card that is useful to YOU! As that would be the only benefit of having these cards now going forward.

People are getting approval with mid 600 scores with the right profiles. This company is no longer "exclusive " so don't buy in to the hype and get saddled with a high AF card that you have no use for just to say you have it when all you have is a sub par rewards card because you thought it was cool.

It's all about what you NEED it for. That could be 6 months from now, 2 years, or even never. Only you can answer that question. Everything else we can answer and help you with but your needs are ultimately for you to decide

All we can say for sure right now is STOP APP'ing for anything until it's the right time.

In 6 months your needs will be closer to your profiles capabilities. Sure, everyone can use a better credit line.. But experience and discipline will get you those. 50 wasted inquiries will only get you toy limits that are unusable and horrible cards just to say you have them.

Do you want 50k over 30 Store cards and 2 majors or 80k in 8 Majors and 2 store cards?

The choice is yours and you are currently setting the foundation for what your profile will look like in 2 years.

Think longer term, it's hard in today's instant gratification world but that's how you win at this "game "

Good luck!

In movies, newspapers, tv and radio we have been brainwashed with anti american propoganda. They made your nation look like a bunch of greedy, senceless, careless ppl. Just feelincreadibly ashamed for those who bought these stupid propoganda. more i get to know americans, more i fall in love with what your country is all about. Also lived for sometme in Canada-not as nearly impressed with them..)
