Waiting is sooooo hard....

Hum-dee-hum

Already checked TC today and balances haven't updated yet.

Can't make payments on anything until payday in 9 days.

Won't pull FICO's again until end of September.

I've passed my daily temptation testing by reading these boards and making it another day NOT applying for anything.

Why, oh, why, isn't there something to do for immediate FICO-satisfaction?

Yeah. I just bought my first Hi Def TV. And it's 110 degrees outside. What sun indeed.

I definitely find stepping away from here helps... I have begun watching "Lost" via abc.com. (I wish I had High Def, I don't even have cable!!!)

No doubt!

I'm already too obsessed with Lost. I think that's probably more an issue than anything. During grad school, I had NO life. Hardly watched TV, almost never got to read for pleasure, constantly felt half brain dead. (Friends don't let friends do grad school! )

Since finishing last year, I still work really hard but I'm finding I can't get enough "downtime". I read 8 or 9 books this Summer. We watched both seasons of Heroes online. I've become obsessed with our credit situation since reaching 7 years since discharge on our Ch. 7 BK. And DH has taken a 2nd job and we have a teenager in the house so I feel like I need to stay up for awhile after he's in bed.

I'm such a logical person; I don't know why reading these boards gets so amped, impatient and tempted to app for things. I'm sure its a life lesson. It helps to know that others sometimes have similar struggles. Thanks.

between waiting for the Bold to be released and waiting for my credit to improve, if nothing else I will certainly develop patience.

What do you think about me taking up online gambling? Possibly smoking? Both would be less addictive I think.
