BOA Question

I want to apply for both the 123 Cash Rewards card and the Alaska airlines card. How would go about it? Apply for one and wait a while and then apply for the second? Anyone have good insight on BOA cards?

These are the two cards I plan on applying for soon as well. Would be interested to hear about suggestions/experiences -- especially when applying for two cards close together.

There's people that go for two BoA cards at the same time. It will require a call for the second app. Does your CR support adding two of their cards? Do you have any relationship with them?

I dont know what CR they look at, but file has 1 or 2 inq and 1 new account. I dont have any previous relationship with BOA, but got pre-approved offers for both. The Cash 123 @ 12.99% after 15 months, 0% for first 15. The Alaska one has 14.24% after 7 months, 1.99% for first 7.

Probably EX for a new application. You're probably good for both. They'll inundate you with BT offers once you're in. Goodluck!

March 20, 2015 I app BBR at 8am form $10k

8 hours later I called back door and asked if it was possible for 2 app approvals the same day using the same HP and said yes it's possible.

the rep was kind enough to stay on the phone with me while I aspp the Travel rewards card. I got the 7-10 day message for the 2nd time due to

my Ex & Eq being froze. The are flexible on pulling reports that are available to them at the time of app. They pulled my TU because other

froze. But they initially wanted to pull EX.

Travel card was approved for $2k.

BoA will gladly pull an alternate CR on request.

I read over on FT people going for two Alaska cards and getting approved.

Ex & Eq was frozen before hand. It wasn't frozen just for this app , I already had the freeze set due to baddies. Give it a shot, you will get thhe 7-10 day

Message for both apps.

1st app, call back door. Have them pull the available report

2nd app, have it filled out but don't submit it, call back door again and ask about 2nd app. after they say okay we will do a2nd app wit same pull. Click submit, then

let analsyst know you just submit it. And they will look at it and use same hp while your on the phone with them

That is very true, they are very flexible about pulling an alternate or available Credit report. my Ex was frozen too... and i didnt realize that they usually like to pull Ex in NY for first app. i got a few missed calls from Analyst being that my report was frozen, when i finally called back, i told them my Report was frozen and they offered to pull fron TU. i dont think you would have a problem being approved for both those cards.
