BoA CLI, Amazon store card CLI

I have all the cards I need now (ha ha famous last words) and what I need to work on now is CLI. I know all about the Amex CLI schedule and so I have put reminders in my calendar for that telling me when next to try it.

Anyone know about BoA? I got a CLI from them on Jan 15th. When can I try again?

And anyone know about CLI for the Amazon store card, from Synchrony? I just got that card this month, I immediately tried a CLI, no joy. When should I try again?

I too got the Amazon Store Card this month and was denied a CLI.

BOA told me 6months between increases and its always a HP for customer initiated cli's.

Call synchrony and ask for the credit group. You should get transferred. I was approved for $900 > $3500

with amazon card i wait the 4 months usually people wait and i get $3,500. ask for chat.

I immediately requested a CLI via phone. Got it approved instantly. From my understanding though, this is reported as a charge card. So it doesn't help your score...

BOA analyst told me that initally 6 months and ask for the best results. You can ask anytime afterwards but may not get what you desire. So with BOA 6 months in between is best.

My Amazon store card reports as having a credit limit (a toy $400 limit which is why I want to CLI it). Experian calls it a "Charge Account" card, Equifax lists is as "Revolving or Option", and TransUnion calls it "Revolving Account". It does seem to be counting towards my utilization, Experian's site shows my available credit went up by $400 when the account appeared (about two days after I applied for it, and before it even arrived in the mail - it posted fast.)

Interesting. I was looking for a response like this. So it does help? I got approved for $3,500 do that should definitely help my utilization. I also got the Amazon Chase Visa. How do they differ related to credit reporting? What service do you have to check your reports so fast?

I subscribe to Amex's "CreditSecure" product which allows you to pull a fresh copy of your report every day. Downside is no FICO, you just get a plus score, but it's nice to be able to look at your report, at least you get the data daily.

I did log in on Experian and see that they included my $400 Amazon card in calculating my available credit.

I got credit limit decreased on my Amazon store card. From $2200 to $1024! Anyone ever had that happen?

BofA not too often. Amazon, in 3 months. They should auto cli you.
