Hooters CLI?

From my understanding you can not request a CLI from hooters they only give auto cli so my question is how soon after you where approved for a Hooters card have you reserved a auto CLI?

I've recieved two cli's from them in about 11 months. $200.00 apiece.

i've heard you can request a CLI BUT it will be a hard pull. supposedly they give u cli on the 7 mo. stmt and then every 4 mos. i've heard cli amts usually range from 200-500 ea.

I asked about CLI on activation and she said it would be a hard inq. I didn't see the point, so I am going to wait for the auto. I hope they hit me with a $500 in 6 months.

I don't know about now but at the beginning of the year I called 3 r 4 times about an increase but was always denied. I never received an hard inquiry on my reports but did get a auto $400 cli on my 7th statement.

I did not get a cli on my 7th statement. I called and was told to keep waiting. They asked if I wanted to request one and i said, no thanks. They did a soft on me just before my 6th statement and saw penfed, 15k, navyfed, 15k, and 10k. I guess they didn't like that because when they approved me for 1.5k, that was my highest cl at the time. It is only seven mos old and I am giving them one more chance before i dump it for good. I guess they can already predict that. Orchard was fired first, and hooters will be next. Don't you like firing these guys when they behave poorly?

I'm on my 8th statement, never been late, low utilization and have never received an increase.

If you don't mind, what was your initial CL? Your scores look pretty good, don't see why no CLI.

It's my lowest card by far. They only gave me $500.00. I have 3 other CC, the lowest which is 3k. I got it for rebuiding anyway, but it certainly isn't helping me out much. I don't want a hard pull for a CLI, so I'll just let it sit there and build history.

I've had the card since 7/07 and in December I requested a $1000.00 increase and received with but it cost me a hard pull. In April I received an auto increase of $400.00 and I checked my statment on-line yesterday and received another $400.00 auto increase. My current line of credit is $2800.00 Be patient and they'll definetley increase you eventually. Goodluck to you!

thought I would try my luck with them..was approved in October 07 with 1250 CL requested increase today..DENIED ...0 balance on the card and never late...highest balance was 600.

They're pretty stingy with the CLIs from my experience. My fico's were in the mid 700s when I got the card about 2 years ago with a $2500 CL, no AF and 12% APR. Unfortunately, it was my lowest CL of all my cards. But I liked, and still like, the 1% reward points (cash back), so I use it quite a bit and PIF.

They didn't auto CLI me until 5/08 (I never asked)...21 months after getting the card, and then only $400. Heck I run $1k through it per month, and it's STILL my lowest CL card! They seem to march to the beat of their own drum on CLIs, and don't really seem to care about matching other CLs. Oh well.

Their point redemption website is darn flakey, too. It's been down several times when I've tried to redeem during the past 9 months. Very odd. But I DO like the 1% cash back option when redeeming points.
