Largest CL for a CSP

Hello,

Just trying to get a vibe as to what the potential is for this card. Wondering what the highest CL's you've seen for a Chase Sapphire Preferred.

Best friend was instant approved for 28k I believe... I am sure there is higher.. 840+ fico's and approx 300k income.

I think saw someone with like 25-30k. Mine is currently at 13k but I've only had the card for 9 months or so and this was my first Chase product. Chase is pretty good with CL judging by my experience.

I got SL of $21k with FICO of 780-810 and income of $160k. They double pulled me on TU and EX but I got CSP and Freedom with same pulls. I know this isn't the highest though because I saw someone with $24k SL but I've never heard of a limit above $30k

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking as well - no limits above $30k.

Mine is at $18k from January spree, had a couple of other Chase products for about 8 months prior so my total CLs are a little over $35k with them. Income reported is almost $100k. when the BT on Slate is done I will move at least part of the limit to this card before closing the Slate. Surprise those $300k reported and 800 scores didnt get a higher line.

My best friend got a higher line on the Ritz 34k starting one month after the CSP approval. He has about 75k with Chase CL's. I believe he had the Marriot prior with around a 14kish CL for several years... doubtful chase hands out much higher initial starting CL's unless you are a pallidium holder or something, but could be completly wrong... I know he recently closed his marriot account and rolled it into the ritz putting it near or at 50k.

The credit line is determine by a number of factors when it comes to Chase. My line was approved for $18,000 and my score was 715. So it depends on how they see you what you also have with them.

There was a guy on MyFico who claimed to have a CSP with 110K limit that he got by combining limits into the CSP from a few other cards. Not sure if that poster was legit but I would assume you can get the CSP as high as the total limit that Chase will grant you across all cards you have if you move the limits from other cards.

I have a 30k Freedom so I'm sure CSP can meet or exceed that limit

Not on these boards but I've seen $50K for the CSP.

Centurionking is correct was over 100k, but that wasn't an iniitial SL.. He closed out his other chse cards and rolled it into his CSP. So is the question is initial SLor largest CSP CL after CLI's and consolidation.

Credit and income matter but credit isn't just a matter of score. My scores tend to be right at around 800 but I've received initial CL's of $5K with creditors concerned about recent activity.

Just appd for the CSP and was instant approved for $16,700.
