Email from Barclays saying Aviator Red Card on the way

I received an email from Barclays saying that my Aviator Red card is on its way and I also noticed yesterday that an "activate your card" link is now on my online login so I expect to maybe receive the new card next week.

Anyone else get the email today?

I did. Then promptly sent a SM to upgrade to Silver.

I got my US Air card in November last year. I have recived a few notices from them saying I would get my Aviator card in April. Today was the first notice that said the card was on its way.

Got an email saying I wont get my card until July then I called customer service and they could not do anything for me. Probably the worst customer service call I have ever had.

From everything I read they won't entertain any upgrades until June at the earliest.

From everything I read they won't entertain any upgrades until June at the earliest.

They said "I have the best product for my account." I Want to pay you more money.... Why are they making it so hard?? I want the AA elite bonus and companion certificate. I hope Irish is correct on the June upgrade window and the CSRs are just not updated.

Wow I hope Irish is right too. I SM'd them immediately but haven't gotten a response yet.
