Any Diners Club updates?

I app'd and was approved for a fairly high limit in September. I read for months that the accounts would be closed down, or limits reduced. I've used the card for 4-7k in charges every month in the US, Puerto Rico, Mexico and Europe. Love the PIN feature. No charge has ever been declined. Love that I have another program that allows transfers to airline/hotel programs. 7th statement just cut and I did notice that cash feature would now be limited to 20% of CL but honestly if you need cash advances other than for emergencies you probably should not use a credit card. So my question is, we're all these fears somewhat overblown?

Probably just like everything else.. I am waiting for them to open applications so that I can get one myself. Glad you like the card.

I haven't seen anything reported recently. Both my Elite & Premier accounts are still functioning as normal and no CL reductions or closures. Large transactions have processed without a hitch.

As far as reporting, they're still invisible. And, it looks like the applications will not be back up (only time will tell whether they would even reopen the gates again, if ever).

Yeah the whole thing run it's course and blew over.

Both of mine are operating just fine as usual and i am loving the hidden tradeline aspect of it although i've yet to even break close to 50% on either.

I'm way too MyFico tight to challenge utility limits even if it's only temporary LoL

Can't believe I forgot about one of the best features, hidden trade line. Only have one other the JP Morgan card but I think I will cancel in June when AF hits. Just no reason to keep it.

The $300 AF on the Elite is still a stinger but it's turned out to be well worth it so far.

Things at BMO Harris with the Diners rollout have settled in well enough now so i wouldn't be one bit surprised if they once again reopen applications for it around about the same time frame as this last one. They should be better prepared this time i'm sure.

If CreditMagic has both, I would assume so. Mine was waived for the Elite, and after the whole snafu with the address/ID verification issue, they also waived the AF on my Premier. I paid them inititally before the 1st statement generated and they subsequently got refunded
