2 Cap One secured?

Hi all,

Does anyone have 2 unsecured cap one cards? I have been thinking about increasing the limit on the one i currently have but someone mentioned that you can get 2 cap one secured cards. Maybe this is a better option than increasing the limit on the one. Any info is appreciated.

I'm guessing you can, but the question is why would you want to? If you need 2 secured cards, look at a CU or maybe BOA, WF or US bank...

No one else would approve me. I know i need some more positive trade lines. Does anyone know though can you add this card to your first account so when you log in you see both accounts or do you have to log in seprately with two different usernames and passwords?

You can put them under one log in. You can only have 2 rebuilding cards whether they be secured or unsecured credit steps. The max on all cards is 5.

My suggestion no credit check and reports to all credit bureaus. The only down side it wont unsecure but a step in the right direction in your credit journey in my opinion.

Not really good ideal. what i mean. is two from cap 1. if you must have another secured card. at least go with another lender. BOA has great secured. as well as a zillion local credit unions. and as other person stated. sdfcu also has one with no credit check. once you become member. that will give you the diversity you need. in 6 months. the gates will be wide open

Pizza1 i wanted to ask you, did you just add to the same online account. Can you see all your cards when you log in or do you need seperate accounts for each one?

I have tried other lenders. I have stayed away from opensky and premier only because it seems so much more expensive. Boa denied me also as well as wells fargo.

I have 5 UNSECURED cards with them... I wouldnt app for another secured with them if I were you. After time on your 1st secured, they will give you an unseured...How long again have you had the first card, and what are your current scores?

Its only been a month. I did get approved for a second cap one secured and they gave me a couple of months to pay for deposit, not sure if i will do it. Were you able to manage all your cards from one online account?

Ok, still not sure if i am going to follow through on the second one. I keep hearing it is good to have at least 3 cards. I will ask again.

It's good to have 3 but start with 2 first and pay them for a year and try to get the negatives off of your credit. And try for one of their unsecured. It was 18 months before they approved me for my quicksilver.

youre doing a great job..just keep it up, and look into Colnmn suggestion as well. Thats a great suggestion. Just use your current card and make your payments.
