BBVA Compass BK Friendly

Guys, during the BBVA Compass " pot of gold" a lot of co-workers applied for the NBA amex card. All of them were approved.

Some of them were approved with high limits and BK showing on the reports. Also, one of them still have a Repo on his reports.

They were so happy that BBVA Compass open their doors for them. Of course, every porfolio is different vs. others

The one with BK ( post 7 years) got $15K

The one with a Repo (post 6 years) got $14.5K

I thought I should share this info with you guys,

Guys, I did not know that this was going to be a sensitive topic. I am very happy for my co-workers that they were approved. I helped them during lunch time and they were instant approved. I did not know anything about their baddies until they were approved. I know that 7 co-workers were approved. The same ones that Cap one approved them few weeks ago. Again, every profile is different. I became like the " speaker of the house" at work because they come to me for help. Of course, all the help come from all the members over here- myFico.

You're fine. It's just that sometimes fingers on a keyboard (not yours) get ahead of the brain and things are said that should be kept private.

I've also helped some coworkers and family members apply, all approved with high limits and all of them are very happy about it. Been a good card so far and has already saved me lots of money at the nba store

Do you think they'll still be good about limits and stuff in a few months? I hope the gravy train doesn't go away like NASA did. I want to get more of my own limits above that $5k mark and I'm hoping having that CSP sit there for a few months will help.

I think so. They created a new department to handle NBA Amex. I have a feeling that they did it for a reason.

I keep my posts straight and to the point... I shouldn't have to post like I'm talking to a 3rd grader.

I must have missed something. I did not see anything in the OP that was out of line.

I was approved for $13K Instant with BK7 discharged JUN2011. My scores are 700-710. My highest limit is NFCU @ $25K thanks to CreditAddict.

Applied this Friday afternoon and it said slam dunk but need some verification info and someone would call me with in 24 hrs. That evening while at dinner I received a call from 800 number.. it was a rep who asked some standard verification questions (name, adddress, birth date, last 4 ss#). Next day-Sat afternoon I called app status option and was told card is on it's way and limit is $8k.

Mia...Thanks again for posting this! I saw in approvals yesterday that "Northface" got approved as well with a BK7 showing from 2011.

This really helps with a few data points for others BK'ers such as myself for future apps. I obviously won't be applying for a very long time because my overall profile doesn't support an approval, but the information is good to have for the future! Thanks

Your welcome Pizza. I did it because we have a lot of people that are not aware of this forum ( perfect example my co- workers) I feel that we as a community have an obligation to share data for others seeking help. This way when they google it, it will show some data that can help them..... !
