3 new CCs made my EX FICO jump 83 pts

New 15k Venture + 5k QS + 5k BCE finally posted as a new cards on EX. My credit card util is 1% $739 out of $57.8k. EX FICO score jumped up 83 pts from 668 to 751!!!!

Guessing you were at 30 or 20% util before and went below 10% utilization thus the score boost? Correct me if I am wrong.. My EQ/EX is at 13%.. Tempted to get a new card to lower it as I cant lower it by paying it down.. CO account thus stuck with that reporting.... Catch 22... I can pay it but it will kill my fico or hope it falls off in a few years...Thus apply and get another 10k line and drop my utilization below 10% for a score boost, not as big as yours but guessing 20 points.

My util was 2% beforehand

I dug around and I think one of my old collection accounts finally fell of of Experian or they may have deleted it in response to a request to delete as goodwill

I was going to say, that big a score boost from new cards is really weird, and that there must be something else driving it. I would guess that the collection dropping off is the real reason for the boost, especially if it is the last collection.

Congrats! My 9 card app spree netted me 65 points lol. I went from 680 to 745.
