I was instantly approved in December 2014 for $4500 with a 665 TU... but I also had a $2200 Apple card for the previous 16 months... (I then transferred the limit from Apple to Sallie Mae making it $6700 and closed the Apple account)

I had also gardened for 2014 and had no inquiries and no new accounts since December 2013.

This was my plan back when I opened the Apple account in September 2013. Mission accomplished.

You best answer will come from the credit pull database as that shows you a range of scores people were approved at. Just google credit pull database and it will come up for you to do your research on scores..

Also with Barclay's I've read they're inquiry sensitive. They (always?) pull TU, so how many inquiries you have on there is at least as important as your score. They're also very known to deny and/or otherwise need a recon call. DH's SM was approved first go round, but my Arrival + I had to call and explain why I had a high balance here and there. I explained one would be paid off withint the month, and the other was a 0% offer that it didn't make sense to rush to pay off, and I was then approved.

tu 688, downside is my profile is only 14 months . I think ill let my chase freedom report first and see if I can get a higher cl in my rewards card, seems like I got a really low cl compared to others with a lower tu score than me.

I had 4 on my TU at time of app with 720s score and had to recon. They asked why I had these inqs and I explained each of them. That's all they wanted to hear as they said my profile looked great and they just needed some insight into those. Approved for $2,500. You might get in with high 600s if you have no inqs or baddies.
