Hidden Trade line

Is there such a thing available these days? I heard Edwards jones was hidden but not sure. If anyone has any thoughts, please chime in 😄

PayPal Credit still doesn't report for me. It used to be bill me later.

I know Nordstrom has a major purchase account like Macy's, but haven't heard if it reports. Otherwise a lot of Business cards don't if you're eligible to get them.

My NFCU is hidden... not sure if I will keep it that way or not. Maybe once it hits 10 years since date of open I will ask them to report it

None of my Canadian cards or lines of credit appear on my US report. They are not hidden in Canada but effectively they are here.

yup,Paypal credit is hidden,otherwise i would have another 7k debt in my credit report and bump my uti to 20%

My paypal credit is hidden. Which I am glad for because I run 0% interest deals thru it all the time. I've heard Newegg is hidden as well but I don't know that from personal experience.

My Diner's Club card is the only "hidden" TL that I have, and I didn't plan on it being one. It is beyond useful having such a massive credit limit available at a modest interest rate that doesn't report to the bureaus. I always kicked myself for not snagging the J.P. Morgan Select card when it was available because I believe it also had the same benefit.

IIRC JP Morgan has a card. Don't recall which one exactly. Business cards aren't hidden but won't show up on personal reports unless delinquent. Charge cards don't factor into revolving utilization with current FICO models but are factored in with older models which may still be used by some creditors.

Also, don't overlook prior discussions.

Any of the Paypal Credit/BML lines are like this and business cards don't usually appear on personal CRs.

Yup, my Newegg Preferred account is hidden and has been since I got over a year ago.

JP Morgan Select Signature Visa and the JP Morgan Palladium are both hidden TL.

PayPal Credit is a real gem in this regard... Couple that with the 6-month financing, awesome thing to have.

Business cards. Paypal. Charge cards are hidden in a way, no util reported in most scoring models now.

My hidden TLs are PayPal Credit and the Macy's Speciel Events line. However, I hear Macy's will soon be combining special accounts so that you only have one account, which means those balances will report.

THAT's why my Diners is not reporting! Bank of Montreal sends it to my Canadian credit report! jk
