Wells Fargo Apple Pay Promo at Panera = $10

Got an email from Wells Fargo: Use your WF Credit or Debit (in credit mode, no PIN) card through Apple Pay at Panera Bread for two (2) transactions on the same card, by May 19, and get a $10 statement credit.

I'll get out my WF Debit card, which I haven't used that card for anything since Nov 2013. A fair amount of activity in the account, but it's all electronic transfers.

I don't see any fine print about minimum purchase amount.

I'm literally sitting in front of a pandora bread right now, I might give it a try even though I don't think there is anything that I like there.

Didn't WF have some other sort of Apple Pay statement credit deal before? This reminds me a bit about how Softcard had a constant cash back thing going in a somewhat futile attempt to get people to use it.

Hey man. Softcard used to give me free jamba juice. Walk in, tap to pay with your phone, and your purchase was $0.00 for jamba juice. It was right next to an AT&T store and every AT&T employee used to be like "Hey, you can get free jambajuice with the app" lol.

Lasted a good few months, and you could use it once a day.

That's funny that they are trying to get people to use apple pay. For me it is too much of a hassle when you can just swipe your debit or credit card and go about your business.
